12Inspect the crankshaft sleeve and replace, if necessaryTo remove, use OMC Slide Hammer, PI 432128, and OMC Small Jaw Puller, PIN 43213113Remove pistons from cylinder block by gently pushing on rod, forcing pistons outDo not allow rod to contact cylinder wall14Mark pistons for location prior to removal from rods

15Remove the rings from pistons using ring expanderDO NOT save ringsInstall new set of rings with complete powerhead service
