1 STEPRUNNING OUTPUT TEST
1Twist and remove primary lead from ignition coil
2Use clockwise twist to install Stevens NoTS-77 terminal extender, or equivalent, to ignition coil primary post3Install primary lead on terminal extendernot interfere with moving engine parts
INote Route all tester leads so they do
4Set peak-reading voltmeter to "POS" and500" 5Connect meter red lead to terminal extenderConnect meter black lead to clean eng ne ground6Start engine and run under load at RPM where ignition problem existsMeter must show 240 volts or higher If test shows low output, go to STEPCHARGE COIL TEST If test shows no output, go to STEPIGNITION MODULE TEST7Remove terminal extenderInstall ignition coil primary lead
