Carburetor ServicingAll Models Removal
1Avoid accidental start-up while servicing engine; twist and remove a" spark plug leads
2Remove the manual starter as described in Section 7
9.915 (305cc) Models

1Remove hose from air hornLoosen top retaining screwRemove side screw and air horn
2Remove the choke cable clamp screw and disengage the cable from choke linkRemove fuel and water hoses from carburetor nipples
3Use open end of OMC Carburetor Flange Nut Removal Tool, PIN 342211
4Remove carburetor flange nuts and remove carburetor, gaskets, and insulator
