22Remove the pinion bearing only if it needs to be replacedBefore attempting removal, take out the bearing retaining screwor you'll damage the gearcase
If the pinion bearing must be replaced, use OMC Bearing Remover and Installer, PI 391257, and assemble it as follows:

Q) Plate, PI 391260 Rod, PI 326582 CD Remover, PI 326579
INote Make sure all loose needles are inside bearing case before
pulling bearingThe needles will provide surface for the remover tool to pull against
