30Apply OVIC Needle Bearing Assembly Grease to the small thrust washer Place the small thrust washer in recess of reverse gearSlide the reverse gear onto the propeller shaft until it engages the pinion
31Carefully apply OVIC Gasket Sealing Compound to the forward a-ring flange of the bearing housingDo not allow sealer to contact either forward thrust surface or bearings in the housing32 Thoroughly clean -aft support flange bore area of gearcase and aft support flange of the bearing housingApply RTV sealer to aft support flange of bearing housing33Install the housing in the gearcase with screw holes in vertical position and anode facing down Press the bearing housing into the gearcase and tap the housing with soft face mallet to seat the a-ring
