21 Wrap the housing with shop clothRotate the detent lever 90 in either direction, then pull the detent lever out of the housing
22Remove the detent ball Q) and spring Remove the 25 forward gear needle bearings23The forward gear bearing and bearing housing are serviced as an assemblyIf either is worn or damaged, replace the entire assembly
