[] 6Using retaining ring pliers, install lower main bearing retain ing ring with sharp edge of ring facing away from bearing[] 7Lightly coat outside diameter of new crankshaft seal with OMC Gasket Sealing CompoundUsing OMC Seal Installer, PIN 325453, install seal in lower crankcase head with extended seal lip facing downCoat the lips of the seal with OMC TripleGuard grease8Lightly coat new O-rings with CIVIC Triple-Guard grease and install on lower crankcase head
9Using OMC Guide Pins, PI 383175, slide crankcase head onto crankshaft
[] 10Apply OMC Nut Lock to the threads of new bearing retainer screws and torque to 96-120 in Ibs(11 -14 Nm)
11Lightly coat the outside diameter of new seal with CIVIC Gasket Sealing CompoundUse flat end of OMC Seal Installer, PIN 325453, to install seal flush in upper crankcase head, lip facing downCoat the seal lip with OMC Triple-Guard grease12Lightly coat new O-rings with CIVIC Triple-Guard grease, and install on upper crankcase head
