Twist and remove spark plug leads before changing propellers to avoid accidental starting of engine1Install correct test propeller and place engine in test tank
2Start engine and run 3000 RPM for at least five minutes
3Reduce engine and run engine at 900 RPM for five minutesMark both upper cylinder areas in front of thermostat pockets with 1250 (52 C) and 163 (73 C) Thermomelt Stik
4At 900 RPM, the 1250 (52 C) marks should remain liquid and glossyThe 163 (73 C) marks should remain dull and chalky If the 125 (52 C) marks do not become liquid and glossy, troubleshoot the cooling system for causes of overcooling If the 163 (73 C) marks become liquid and glossy, troubleshoot the cooling system for causes of overheating0 0
