INotellf removedapply avtC Locquic Primer and avtC Screw Lock to the brush card screws before installing
1Correctly route the brush leads, and install the springs and brushesCompress the springs with modified putty knife
I Note Incorrect orientation of brushes could damage the starter or cause reverse rotation
2Apply avtC Extreme Pressure Grease to the gear housing armature bearing Install the thrust washer and armature
3Orient the starter framethe long alignment mark will match the mark next to the positive terminal stud on the gear housing
