Relay Ohmmeter Test
The 70-amp main power relay is always connected to the electrical system as follows:

Wire ColorPurple B+12 Volt (+) Solenoid Wire ColorRed

B-12 Volt (-) Battery (Ground)
Wire ColorBlack

= Load12 Volt to RectifierRegulator Wire ColorRed

INote To avoid immediate meter damage, never apply an ohmmeter to an electrical circuit where voltage is presentTo protect your test light or meter, remove relay from socket before proceeding with test1Use Fluke Model 29 meter or equivalent calibrated on ohms scale or continuity light to test continuity[] 2Connect meter leads to relay terminals "B+" and "L" The meter must show no continuity
