Function Test at Cylinder Block
1Connect 's inI.Dclear vinyl hose between the cylinder block hose fitting and syringe filled with isopropyl alcohol
2Press lightly on the syringe plungerFluid should move freely through the fitting If fluid does not move freely through the fitting, clean fitting with OMC Nipple Cleaning Tool, PI 326623
3Repeat Steps and for each cylinder block fittingFunction Test at Crankcase]1Connect 's inI.Dclear vinyl hose between the check valve and syringe filled with isopropyl alcoholThe fitting does not have to be removed from the crankcase for this test2Press lightly on the syringe plunger: Fluid should not move freely through the fitting If fluid moves freely through the fittingreplace the fitting3Draw out on the syringe plungerAir should be drawn through the fitting into the clear hose If air cannot be drawn through the fittingreplace the fittingFunction Test at Internal Check Valve
