Break-In Procedure To help ensure long engine life and prevent serious engine damage, the break-in procedure must be followed during the first 10 hours of operationThe ECU will automatically supply extra oil during the first five hours of operationWhenever used engine receives new powerhead or newly rebuilt powerhead, it is mandatory that the break-in procedure be initiated by using the CIVIC Diagnostic SoftwareImmediately verify proper oil system operation once engine is startedIf necessary, restrict oil return line between oil injector outlet port and check valve for 20 seconds after oil is present at the crankcaseI Note DO NOT operate motor out of waterWater pump can be damaged or engine can overheatI Note DO NOT operate engine at constant throttle setting Change engine RPM often
