1llI14Insert small screwdriver under one end of the clutch dog spring and remove it from the groove by unwrapping it from around the clutch dogDiscard the springRemove the clutch dog pin 15Pull the clutch shaft out of the housing and slide the clutch dog off the rear of the shaftThe detent balls inside the rear of the shaft are not serviced and are available only as an assembly with the clutch shaft [}!]
16Lift the reverse gearthrust bearingand thrust washer off the bearing housingserviced separately and is available only as an assembly with reverse gear
INote Do not remove the bearing inside the reverse gearIt is not
17Push the shifter pivot pin out of the housingPull out the shift shaft, cradle, and shifterLift shifter and cradle off shift shaft18Remove the 25 loose needles from inside the bearing housing
