Installation
W1Coat the driveshaft splines with OIVIC Moly LubeDo not
coat top surface of the driveshaft as lubricant here may prevent seating of the driveshaft in the crankshaft2Apply OMC Adhesive sealant to the lower exhaust housing seals' inner surfacesPosition two new seals on the housingApply OIVIC Triple-Guard grease to the seals' outer surfaces and position the housing on the gearcase
3Rotate the propeller shaft and shift the gearcase to FORWARDOn relieved split-line exhaust housings, apply OIVIC Gel-Seal" to gearcase mating surface pads on exhaust housingSlide the gearcase into place, making sure the driveshaft engages the crankshaft, the water tube enters the water pump, and the lower inner exhaust housing does not slip out of position

4Apply OIVIC Gasket Sealing Compound to threads of the gearcase retaining screwsInstall the screws and tighten to the following torques:
