Thermostat Servicing Disassembly

1Remove the thermostat coverInspect its a-ring and replace if damaged 2Remove thermostat assembly

3Inspect the thermostat seal in the cylinder headTo replace seal, remove cylinder headPlace the new seal in the cylinder head with side marked "TO CYL HEAD" facing out toward thermostat4Inspect the components for cracks, heat damage, or signs of corrosionReplace if necessary
