Assembly and Installation
1Install pump to injector hose and secure with clamp and tie strapInstall injector to manifold hoses and secure with tie strapsInstall oil nozzles in hoses and secure with tie straps2Install oil injectordistribution manifold on bracketRetain with new locknuts on screws and tighten to 60-80 inIbs(7-9 Nm)Install oil pump on bracket and tighten screws to 45-55 inIbs(5-6 Nm) Apply OVIC Pipe Sealant with Teflon to oil pressure switch threads and tighten to 120-168 inIbs(14-19 Nm)3Install oil pump to lift pump hose on check valve and secure with tie strapConnect injector connector
4Install oil pump assembly bracket on fuel component bracketApply avIC Nut Lockto screws, install nuts and tighten to 60-80 in Ibs(7-9 Nm)5Install lower pulse hose on oil pump and secure with tie strapInstall injector outlet hose elbow in port and secure with retainer6Lubricate new O-rings with oil and install on oil nozzlesPush into manifolds with fingers7Install oil supply hose and upper pulse hose onto oil pump and secure with tie strapsConnect wire to oil pressure switch8Start engine and restrict oil return line between oil injector out let port and check valveVerify all oil distribution hoses are purged of airContinue restriction for an additional twenty seconds Eliminate restriction and verify oil flow by checking oil return discharge at oil tankCheck for fueloil leaks
