Oil Component Servicing The oil injector and oil distribution manifold are an assembly and cannot be serviced as individual componentsDo not interchange the oil injector with fuel injectordoing so will disrupt flow characteristics

Removal and Disassembly
1To avoid accidental starting of engine, disconnect battery cables at battery2Remove engine covers and air silencer

3Disconnect oil outlet hose check valveInspect and replace if necessary, and secure with tie straps Red end of connector is on the engine side4Remove upper pulse hose and oil supply hose from oil pump assemblyDisconnect wire from oil pressure switch
5Remove retainer from injector outlet port and remove elbow with hoseRemove lower pulse hose from oil pump6Use screwdriver to gently pry oil nozzles from manifolds
