Stator Resistance Tests
INote Disconnect battery cables before proceeding with this test[] 1Disconnect stator 26-volt yellowblue, yellow, and yellow gray stripe wires from rectifierregulator port sideStator 26-volt wires are the shorter length wires[] 2Connect one meter lead to stator wire and the other meter lead to another wire3Alternate meter leads to test all combinations of stator wires]4To check for grounded condition, connect one meter lead to ground wire and alternately connect the other meter lead to each stator 26-volt wires Meter should read no continuity If meter reads continuity, the stator is grounded5Repeat Steps thru for stator 12-volt (longer length) yellow blue, yellow, and yellowgray stripe wiresStator 12-volt wires connect to rectifierregulator starboard side
