removed, apply CIVIC Locquic Primer and CIVIC Screw Lock to the brush card screws before installing
1Place armature in frame

2Apply CIVIC Extreme Pressure Grease to the brush holder cap armature bearing3Correctly route the brush leads and install the springs and brushes
INote Incorrect

orientation of the brushes could damage the starter or cause reverse rotation4Compress the brushes and springs with modified putty knife
5Align and place brush holder cap firmly on armature and slide putty knife out, making sure the brushes are retained properly
