Electric Starter Servicing Removal

INote Disconnect the

battery cables at the battery
1Remove port side lower motor cover following instructions in the Powerhead section

2Disconnect positive battery cable from post on starter
3Remove the screws retaining the starter to the engine block
4Remove the starter assembly from engineDisassembly
