4Remove the flywheel cover 5Using OMC Flywheel Holder, PI 771311, or equivalent, remove the five flywheel retaining screwsDiscard the five screws
[] 6Using the two 3s-24x1 inscrews from OMC Flywheel Service Kit, PIN 434649, secure the tool to the flywheelTwo ofthe five holes in the flywheel are tapped for the toolTurn the center screw and draw the flywheel off the crankshaft

avoid damaging the flywheel magnets, OMC Flywheel Service Kit, PIN 434649, should be your only method of removing and installing the flywheelInstallation

[] 1Remove any debris from the flywheel magnetsUsing OMC Flywheel Service Kit, PIN 434649, lower the flywheel into position on the crankshaft, aligning the crankshaft roll pin with its hole in the flywheelRemove the tool from the flywheel[] 2Install five new flywheel retaining screws and tighten to 23-25 ftIbs(31-34 Nm) following torque sequence3Carefully install the flywheel coverInstall the 11 flywheel cover screws and tighten to 40-50 inIbs(4,5-5,7 Nm)4Install the throttle lever assemblyAdjust crankshaft position sensorRefer to Synchronization and Linkage Adjustment, Section 2
