Fuel Component Servicing
Before starting any fuel system disassembly, carefully relieve fuel system pressureProtect against hazardous fuel spray by attaching suitable device to the fuel manifold test point and slowly release pressureHave container available to catch residual fuelDo not interchange individual fuel injector partsdoing so will disrupt flow characteristicsDo not interchange fuel injector parts with oil injector partsRemoval and Disassembly

1To avoid accidental starting of engine, disconnect battery cables at battery2Remove engine covers and air silencer3Remove necessary oil components to allow access to fuel componentsRefer to Section this manual
