Service Code Retrieval ECU service codes can be retrieved two different ways; by using the System Check gauge, or by using personal computer loaded with ONIC Diagnostic SoftwareUsing System Check Gauge The following procedure uses the boat's System Check gauge "Check Engine" light to display service codes stored in the ECUWhen this diagnostic mode is entered, service code will blink once, then be followed by the next code storedCodes will be displayed as two digits, i.e17,34, etcA short pause will separate the digits, longer pause will separate code numbersCodes will be displayed in continuous loop; the first code, when arrived at, will be preceded by several second pause during which the "Check Engine" light will remain litCodes will contin ue to be displayed until stopped by the technicianSee the Service Code Chart for code interpretation
