Storage Use the following procedure to properly prepare Evinrude FFI outboards for extended periods of non -useThese steps are intended to protect the engine during storage and simplify the preseason servicing procedure1Stabilize the engine's fuel supply with 0IIk: 2+4 fuel conditioner, following directions on the bottle& When using flushing attachment, always remove engine's propeller before starting engine to prevent accidental contact with moving propeller
INote Use flushing

attachment if you operate the engine on trailer or dolly to prevent engine or water pump damage
2In shop V6 six-gallon gas tank, prepare an engine "storage
mixture" consisting of: Five gallons of fuel Two quarts of 0IIk: Storage Fogging Oil 2V2 ozof 0IIk: 2+4 fuel conditioner 3Connect the tank containing the "storage mixture" to the engineLeave the oil supply and return lines connected to the eng ineRun the engine at approximately 1500 RPM for ten minutes to ensure that the entire fuel supply system is full of stabilized fuel
