Installation
1Install the idler assembly on the reservoirInstall the pivot screws and washersas shownInstall, but do not tighten, the locknuts2Tighten the top pivot screw, then the bottom pivot screwThe idler housing must still pivot, so do not torque screws at this time3Install adjustment rod
4Install the pulley and locknutReplace the locknut if you do not feel definite resistance to tightening[] 5Hold the pulley with Stevens Strap Wrench S-17, and torque the locknut to 35-40 ftIbs(47-54 Nm)6Route drive belt around all pulleysBe sure belt engages all pulley grooves correctly[] 7Set adjustment rod for belt tension of 25-30 pounds
