Installation

1Place two ramp lock washers, with ramps together, on each of the three pump mounting screws
2Install the pump and reservoir on the cylinder blockInclude the oil filter bracket and spacer under the lower screwApply OMC Locquic Primer and OMC Nut Lock to threads of pump mounting screwsTorque all screws to 30-35 ftIbs(41-47 Nm)
3Install and clamp the reservoir sump lineAttach and secure the pump pressure line
4Fill the reservoir with fresh OMC Power TrimlTilt and Power Steering Fluid or GM Dexron 1 fluid, and install the dipstick
5Use an impact socket and '2 indrill motor to turn the pump pulley at 500-1000 RPM for 30 seconds
6Recheck reservoir fluid level and fill as necessary
