4Use plastic malletto tap the shaft and bearing assembly into the reservoir until upper bearing seats on reservoir shoulder5Use No3 internal retaining ring pliers to install the internal retaining ring with its sharp, square edges facing up
6Coatthe gerotor and pump housing bore with GM Dexron IIfluidMatch the alignment dots on the gerotor gears and install gerotor in housingIf the gerotor is being reused, it must be placed in the housing, in its original orientation
7Coat two new O-rings (0.795 0.104 inand 2.350 0.140 in with GM Dexron IIfluid, and install in pump housing grooves
8Match the alignment bushings and install the gerotor and pump housingInstall the four retaining screws and torque to 120-144 inIbs(14-16 Nm), following an "X" pattern
