Tilt Piston Removal
1Using OVIC Tilt Cylinder End Cap RemoverInstaller,
PIN 326485, or OVIC Universal Spanner Wrench, PIN 912084, and
2Drain the fluid from above the piston
a breaker bar, unscrew the tilt rod end cap
rn andSlowly pullthe cylinder.out withthe rag wrapped around the 3the piston the rod the top of Drain remaining fluid from
cylinder
4Inspect the bore of the ti It cyl nder for excessive scori ngIf the bore of the tilt cylinder is scored or damaged, the cylinder body must be replaced5Clamp the rod eye tightly in soft jaw viseRemove the nut from the piston end of the rod
