1Inspect flange bosses in the shift lockout camIf there is any sign of rounding of the edges, replace the cam2Inspect slots in the fast idle lever for wearReplace the fast idle lever if the slots are worn3Clean disassembled mechanical parts in solventInspect them and replace any that are worn or damaged4DO NOT clean electrical components in solventCheck continuity of wiring and electrical parts with test light or an ohmmeterReplace any component that does not test OKAssembly
Failure to follow assembly instructions closely could result in remote control malfunction, causing sudden and unexpected loss of throttle or shift control
INotel Lubricate friction points on mechanical parts with OMC Moly Lube grease
