3Loosen the sending unit screws until only snug, so the sending unit can be pivoted
4Disengage the mooring bracketLower the engine against the thrust rod

by pivoting it up or down 6Lower the engine against the thrust rod to verify adjustmentRepeat Step 5, if necessary7After adjustment is correct, tilt the motor up, tighten the two sending unit screws, and remove the thrust rod
