The driveshaft bearing is not serviceableReplace the bearing housing if the bearing is worn or damagedAlso, inspect the driveshaft bearing surface if the bearing is damaged[] 1Remove the driveshaft bearing housing seal using OMC Puller Bridge, PI 432127, and OMC Large Puller Jaws, PI 432129Discard the seal2Remove the O-ring from the bearing housing and discard it3Clean the bearing housing in solvent to remove sealer from the seal bore and the O-ring groove[] 4Install new seal in the bearing housing using OMC Seal Installer, PIN 341439Apply OMC DPL Penetrating Lubricant to casing of the seal before installingPlace back of seal against tool and install it until tool is seatedApply OMC Triple-Guard grease to the seal lips after installing
