14Lift crankshaft and crankcase heads from cylinder block and place on bench for disassembly
15Replace the rod caps on the rodsOrient them exactly as they were before you removed themInstall the screws finger tight
16Rotate the powerhead so the cylinder heads face upRemove the cylinder heads and gently push up on the connecting rods to remove the piston assembliesProtect the condition of the piston by packing paper towels between the connecting rod and pistonDo not allow the connecting rod to contact the inside of the piston skirt during handling17Remove the upper crankcase head from the crankshaft and discard a-rings To remove seal, insert punch through bottom of bearing to engage seal lip and drive seal out with malletDO NOT reuse sealIf bearing is damaged, crankcase head and bearing assembly must be replaced
