Disassembly
INote Discard all gaskets and seals from the powerhead componentsScrape or peel off the gasket, being careful not to remove any metal with the scraper
1Remove the screws retaining the intake manifold to the crankcaseTap the manifold around its edge with soft mallet to break the sealRemove the recirculation hose from the nipple on the crankcaseSeparate the manifold from the crankcase
2Remove the cylinder head cover screws from each of the cylinder banksRemove the covers from the cylinder heads3If servicing the temperature sender, use tip of small screwdriver to pry the sender out of the cylinder head
