Installation
1Carefully inspect the crankcase head and timer base bushing for dirt, metal chips, or scratches2Apply light coating of OMC Moly Lube to the crankcase head bearing surface and the timer base bushing
3Lubricate the retainer ring groove with Evinrude or Johnson Outboard Lubricant
[] 4Lightly compress the retainer ring and install the timer baseRoute and connect the timer base leads
