13To assemble inner and outer seals to bearing housing, install outer seal retaining ring into its groove in the bearing housing
14Apply avK:: Gasket Sealing Compoundto metal casing of each seal before installingApply avK:: Triple-Guard grease to seal lips before installing inner sealInstall outer seal into bearing housing with lip facing outwardPress seal in until it makes contact with retaining ring
15Install inner seal with lip facing outwardTap seal into bearing housing using socket slightly smaller than the outside diameter of the sealWhen the seal is seated, install the inner retaining ring16Remove the seal carrier assembly and thrust washer
