7Lightly coat the detent ball and spring with O'IC Needle Bearing Assembly GreaseFirst, insert the spring in the housing, then the ball8Wear safety glasses to avoid injuryFace the detent lever toward either side of the housingDepress the ball and spring with punch while pushing the detent lever into the housingOnce the detent lever is past the ball, rotate the lever toward the rear of the housing, then move the detent lever to engage NEUTRAL position9V6Thoroughly grease the original 25 needles with O'IC Needle Bearing Assembly Grease and place in the bearing case
rn 10then reachnarrow and attachtheto shifter towardAlign Face the arms of the housing, inside it the detent leverthe pivot holes and insert the retaining pin]11Push the detent lever down to its most depressed positionRest the cradle on the shift shaft CD, then attach the cradle and shaft to the wide arms of the shifterPull the detent lever back up to NEUTRAL position to hold the cradle and shaft in place
