Remove two screwsone on either side, and removePropeller Shaft Bearing Housing Service
1Remove the seal(s) using QIIC Puller Bridge, PIN 432127, and QIIC Small Puller Jaws, PIN 432131Position the plate on top of the housing to support the bridge, and tighten the jaws securely behind the lower seal
INotellnspect bearings in placeIf bearing is removed for any reason, it must be discarded
2Remove either bearing using QIIC Puller Bridge, PIN 432127, and QIIC Large Puller Jaws, PIN 432129Rest the puller plate on top the housing to support the bridge, and tighten the jaws securely behind the bearing3Discard the bearing housing O-ring(s) Clean the housing and bearings in solvent, and dry thoroughlyIf bearings were not replaced, rotate the needles with your fingers to check for freedom of movement4Inspect the bearing housing anodeReplace anode if it has reduced to two-thirds of its original size (one-third eroded)44185
