Installation 1Thread the starboard end of the tilt tube into the spacer2Thread the adapter onto the port end of the tilt tube[[) 3Using wood or leather mallet, tap the tilt tube into proper position[] 4Be sure the lock tab is in correct position []] &
5Install the starboard locknutReplace the locknut if definite resistance is not felt6Torque the starboard tilt tube nut to 50-54 ftIbs(68-73 Nm), then loosen nut Va to ;4 turn7Install tilt cam and collar on the tilt tubeBe sure locating tab on collar fits in hole on tilt tube
