1V6Apply Permatex No2gasket sealant to inner exhaust housing flangeCoat both sides of new base gasket with OMC Gasket Sealing Compound
V4Install base gasket dryDo not use OIVIC Permatex No.2 or OIVIC Gasket Sealing Compound
2Install new base gasket on adapterTo ensure proper sealing, mating surfaces must be clean and free of oil, grease, and foreign matter3Coat the driveshaft splines with OMC Moly LubeDo not apply lubricant to end of driveshaft
[] 4Using hoist, slowly lower powerhead onto exhaust housing

5Install two steering arm to upper mount screws Torque screws to 100-105 ftIbs(136-142 Nm)6Apply OIVIC Gasket Sealing Compound to the threaded portion of the powerhead to exhaust housing screwsLoosely install all fasteners
