STEPCHARGE COIL TEST, V4 MODELS Ground Test 1Disconnect the starboard side Packard connector between stator and power pack2Attach test adapter from Kit, PI 437270, to stator connector
3Set peak-reading voltmeter to "POS" and "500"
4Connect the meter black lead to clean engine groundAlternately connect meter red lead between brown, brownwhite stator leadsCrank engine and observe meter at each connectionAny reading indicates charge coil is grounded Locate and repair ground, or replace stator assembly5If no reading is indicated in Step 4, go to Output TestOutput Test 1Set peak-reading voltmeter to
