IJJ 1Disconnect the port side Packard connector between the power pack and key switchAvoid electrical shock; do not handle ignition coils or spark tester leads during test2Crank the engine and observe results at spark tester: If spark now jumps alternately at each gap, the problem is in the stop circuitGo to Ohmmeter TestKey Switch If no spark is present, proceed to next step indicated in Troubleshooting Sequence Chart, Page 3-243Complete all circuits disconnected during this testOhmmeter TestKey Switch

INote All ohmmeter tests must be performed with the engine NOT running1Disconnect the port side Packard connector containing the blackyellow lead2Attach the test adapter to the engine harness connector V4Use test adapter from Kit, PIN 437270 V6Use test adapter from Kit, PIN 434017 3Install the emergency stop switch clip] 4Calibrate ohmmeter on appropriate scale and connect one meter lead to clean engine ground Connect the other meter lead to the blackyellow Key OFF, meter must show low reading Key ONmeter must show high readingE u
