Test Oil Pump liSe If Priming" Feature 1Connect shop tank with 50: fuel oil mixture to the outboard fuel inlet fitting[] 2Connect oil hose to the pumpDo not squeeze oil hose primer bulb Run engine at 1500 RPM until "NO OIL" signal turns OFFThis verifies oil pump is self-priming If "NO OIL" signal does not turn OFF, replace the oil pump section of VRO pumpUse VRO Oil Housing and Electrical Kit, PI 438955 INote When testing is complete, be sure all oil hose connections
are airtight to avoid possible powerhead damage
INote The "LOW OIL" and "NO OIL" signals alert the operator to
VRO system problemsIf the warning signals are not working as they should, test and repair the warning system to prevent undetected problems from causing serious powerhead damage
