Idle Timing
1Remove the rectifierregulator cover
OJ 2Disconnect the timing sensor plugAttach the CIVIC Ignition Analyzer from OMC Ignition Test Kit, PIN 434017, to the timing sensor3Move the analyzer selector switch to position:

4Connect the analyzer to 12-volt source5Loosen the timer base detent screw
6Move both the inside and outside detent tabs completely forward on the detent plate
[] 7Be sure the timer base lever is against stop on the flywheel cover
