Deutsch Connector Servicing
INote The Deutsch pin and socket terminals are not the same
size as Amphenolpin and socket terminalsYou cannot interchange themDisconnect
Press latchpull connectors apartConnect
Check that seal is in placeClean off old greasedirt from connectorsApply light coat of OMC Electrical Grease to sealPush connectors together until latchedTerminal Removal
rn Use hook-endoffrom receptacle, or use other end of342667, OMC Connector Service Tool, PIN to pullout wedge tool to
pry out wedge from plug Use needle-nose pliers to remove wedge from 3-pin receptacle
rn Release terminal latch orgently pull on wireTerminal Installation
Push terminal through seal until it clicks into placeTwist and tug wire if no click is heardFill connector with OMC Electrical Grease to 1132 in (0,8 mm) below ledge or end of plug
