9Remove the shift yoke with long-nose pliers
10Remove the shifter lever pivot pinDiscard the pivot pin O-ring11Remove the propeller shaft and reverse gear components from the gearcase
12.Using magnetic tool, locate and remove the two shifter detent balls and one detent spring from the gearcase
