5The connecting rod has no specific orientationSupport the piston in 0IVk: Piston Cradle, PIN 326573Oil the wrist pin bore and wrist pin6Install the wrist pin through the piston and connecting rod, pushing the tool out through the piston
7Using OMC Cone, PI 318600, and Driver, PI 318599, install new wrist pin retaining rings in each wrist pin holeGap of the retaining ring faces down, away from notch in piston for each piston
8Repeat Steps 2
9Install piston rings on each pistonTapered ring must be installed in top grooveSpread each ring with ring expander just enough to slip it over the head of the piston and down into place
10Clean the seal bore of the crankcase head and install new seal using 0IVk: Installer, PI 333520Apply OMC Gasket Sealing Compound to the metal casing of the seal and press the seal into the crankcase head until the tool is seatedThe sharp edge of the seal's metal case must face the tool during installationLightly coat the seal lips with OMC Triple-Guard greaseDR2661
