Ignition Component Replacement 1To avoid accidental starting of engine while servicing, twist and remove all spark plug leads&
2Remove the screws retaining the ignition component that is being replaced
rn 3Remove the wire clamp from the ignition plate
4Loosen the ignition plate screwsLift the ignition plate from the powerhead from the bottom of the ignition plate
rn 5Remove the plate
6Remove the leads from the spiral wrap and from the ignition component7Apply ave Ultra Lock to the threads of the component retaining screwsLoosely install the new ignition component on the ignition plate
rn rn 8Route leads and install clampplateand spiral wrapINotel
All component leads must be routed through clamp and plate in single layer, not twisted or crossed over another lead
