Intake Manifold Servicing20 thru 30 Removal
1Follow steps listed in Carburetor Removalthis section
2Remove pin
from end of throttle control rod
rn 3Remove tie strap and disconnect oil recirculation hose 4Remove screws attaching intake manifold to powerheadRemove intake manifold and gasket
5Remove flat head Phillips screw leaf plate assembly and gasket
and carefully remove
Inspection
Do not lift or bend leafl valves by handThis may damage them so they may not seal properly or may break after the engine is returned to service
