Deutsch Connector Servicing
The Deutsch pin and socket terminals are not the same size as Amphenol pin and socket terminalsYou cannot interchange them
Disconnect
Press latchpull connectors apartConnect
Check that seal is in placeClean off old greasedirt from connectorsApply light coat of OMC Electrical Grease to sealPush connectors together until latched
Terminal Removal
Use hook-end of OMC Connector Service Tool, PIN 342667, to pullout wedge from receptacle, or use other end of tool to pry out wedge from plugUse needle-nose pliers to remove wedge from 3-pin receptacleRelease terminal latch orgently pull on wire
Terminal Installation
Push terminal through seal until it clicks into placeTwist and tug wire if no click is heard
rn Fillledge or end of plugElectrical Grease to connector with OMC below INote No other grease is recommended
