14Refer to No Load Current Draw, Electric Starter to check starter operation
Installation
1Apply OMC Nut Lock to threads ofthe starter retaining screwsPosition starter and install screwsTorque to 14-16 ftIbs(19-22 Nm)2Reconnect solenoid to starter wireTorque nut to 10-12 ftIbs(14-16 Nm) and apply OMC Black Neoprene Dip to the connection3Using new air silencer base screws, install the air silencer base and cover on the carburetorsTorque to 60-84 inIbs(7-9 Nm)4Reconnect battery cables to the battery
